About

I'm a New York-based filmmaker from Maryland.

In 2008 I founded Uncorked Productions with producer Andrew D. Corkin. In 2012 I wrote & directed my first short film, FATHER/SON, which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival.

In 2014 I wrote & directed my first feature film, BIG SIGNIFICANT THINGS, which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival. The film was acquired by Oscilloscope Laboratories and released in theaters and on-demand in 2015.

Recently I produced Joel Potrykus' third feature film, THE ALCHEMIST COOKBOOK (Oscilloscope, SXSW 2016) and co-produced EMELIE (MPI/Dark Sky Films, Tribeca 2015).

Outside of features, my recent short film MAXINE THE FLUFFY CORGI  was invited to play at the 2017 TED Conference,  I directed the 8-episode web series, THE WALKER (Refinery29), starring Carey Mulligan, Zoe Kazan and Rightor Doyle, won an AICP Award for the anti-bullying PSA “Too Late," and was named one of SHOOT's Best New Director's.
